There are some people who come into your life and leave a lasting impact, and for me, Olivia is one of those people. She is so incredibly special to me, and our bond has grown over the years in ways I will always treasure.
It all started back when Olivia was in 5th grade, and it was my first year working at Snow Heights. Her mom was on staff with me, so Olivia would come to school early and hang out in the cafeteria while I worked morning care. Those moments were so meaningful, and I really got to know her on a deeper, more personal level. I’m so thankful for the time we spent together. As she moved through middle school, Olivia would still come early with her mom, so we had even more time to catch up and bond. But when high school came around, those visits became fewer and far between, and I couldn’t help but miss her presence.
So, whenever she did stop by the school, I would be absolutely thrilled to see her. When I received her application to be on my senior rep team, I knew without a doubt I couldn’t say no. This girl is one in a million, and I was beyond honored to have her on my team.
Olivia and I have shared so many incredible memories this year, more than I can count. But one of my absolute favorites is still a moment from our trip to Oklahoma, where she was running down the street screaming, “I LOVE JORDAN FLOWERS!” I will never forget that moment — it’s a video I will cherish forever, and every time I hear it, I still can’t help but laugh.
Olivia, you are so incredibly special to me, and I hope you never forget the bond we’ve built over all these years. I know I’ll never forget you, and I will always treasure the connection we share. For Olivia’s last private session with me, we decided to rent a studio (Wild Oak Studio in Roanoke, Texas) because the weather outside was freezing. The studio gave us the perfect backdrop to capture some amazing moments. One of the big perks of Wild Oak Studio is the LED window light they have that gives you the perfect lighting no matter the condition outside. Olivia and I played around with fun poses on a couch, by a bed, and finished up with a sweet splash of Valentine’s Day-inspired shots that were absolutely perfect for the dress she brought.
One of the things I love most about Olivia is her ability to pull off a stunning RBF that could probably put anyone to shame. But when she smiles? Oh my gosh, she lights up the room! She has a timeless personality and sense of style that makes every single picture we take together perfect.
Olivia, I have absolutely loved having you on my team this year. I can’t wait to see all the future memories we’ll create together. You’re such a bright, beautiful soul, and I’m lucky to have been part of your senior year journey.
I love you so much, kiddo.
Love, Mrs. Flowers
