Senior year is a time to celebrate milestones and embrace the journey ahead, and your senior photos should capture every bit of that excitement. One of the most important parts of creating stunning senior portraits is choosing the perfect location. Fort Worth has incredible fields to make your session unforgettable. Here are some of my favorite local hotspots and hidden gems for senior photos:

1. Northwest Community Park

If you’re dreaming of a wide open field with views of the sunset AND a creek as an added bonus, Northwest Community Park is a must-visit. This location offers everything from open fields, views of a small lake, a creek and even a waterfall when the water is flowing. Whether you’re twirling in a flowy dress or rocking a casual jeans-and-sneakers vibe, the natural beauty here complements every style.

Pro Tip: Don't forget to bring sneakers to walk from location to location.

2. Tandy Hills

No matter what season, Tandy Hills is a gorgeous backdrop for all your photo needs! Imagine the sunsetting over views of Downtown Fort Worth while you are standing in a field of lush tall wildflowers.

Pro Tip: Make sure to stay on marked trails to help preserve our wildflowers.

3. Eagle Mountain Park

A little bit of fields, cactus, western styled buildings... this location has everything you can dream of for a country styled shoot. In the spring you will find wildflowers and in the fall you will find the tall dead wispy grass. No matter what look you are wanting to achieve, Eagle Mountain Park has it all.

4. Keller pointe

Keller Pointe is known for the dreamy and creamy lighting that pops through the trees at sunset. The lighting can make or break a session and Keller Pointe never disappoints. No matter the season, KP is always a great choice for an open field location.

Pro Tip: Bring your sneakers to walk from the parking lot to the open field!

5. Fossil Creek

Epic tree tunnel, wooden fence, dirt path, wide open field... the list could go on and on about how perfect Fossil Creek is. This is a hidden gem and when you pull up, you might not think much about it but once we get started you will quickly learn why this is one of my most favorite parks in Fort Worth.

Pro Tip: There is no parking, you will have to pull off on the side of the road... and maybe hold your nose, the smell near where you park isn't always the best.
