Some people come into your life and leave a lasting impact, and Haley is definitely one of those people. As one of my 2025 Senior Reps, I have had the privilege of capturing her senior journey, but my connection with Haley goes back much further. Her family passed through Snow Heights, where I used to work, so I have known her since she was little. And as we say, once a Polar Bear, always a Polar Bear!

Haley is nothing short of a rock star on the volleyball court. With multiple college offers already on the table, she is still deciding where she will take her talents after graduation. Since she’s an absolute baddie on the court, I convinced her to do one of her sessions at Texas Image Volleyball in Grand Prairie, Texas, where she plays club volleyball. We met up on Presidents' Day in the afternoon, and from the moment we started, it was clear that this session was going to be just as much fun as it was productive.

My assistant, Bekah, tagged along to help with my off-camera flash, which is something my future seniors will see more and more of now that I am learning how to use it to its full potential. And when I say we got to work, I mean we played around 50% of the time and worked the other 50%, but trust me—we still got the shots we needed!

Haley has a way of making everyone around her feel heard, understood, and most importantly, laugh until they cry. There is never a dull moment when she’s around. I have a sarcastic personality, and she matches my energy perfectly—she can dish it out just as much as I can, and I am absolutely here for it!

Her session was full of energy and laughter, featuring three different jerseys, multiple volleyball poses, cartwheels (yep, I said cartwheels), and some hilarious moments—like stuffing volleyballs under her shirt for a “maternity” vibe. She even gave me a crash course in bumping, setting, and spiking. To top it all off, we ended with a serving competition. Before we started, Haley jokingly asked if I wanted to move my off-camera flash out of the way. I laughed and told her not to worry because I probably wouldn’t even get the ball over the net. Well, guess what? I did get it over the net… and I did hit my off-camera flash. Thankfully, no equipment was harmed in the making of this session!

It was the perfect way to wrap up such a fun and memorable shoot. Haley, no matter where volleyball takes you next year, I hope you never lose your spark. You are truly one of a kind, and I love you so much, kiddo! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you. Keep shining, keep laughing, and keep being the amazing person you are!
