West 7th Bridge
Before I was even a photographer, I remember thinking it was a waste to build this elaborate bridge when the project first started. Now, it's one of my favorite spots! Parking can be a bit challenging because the lot across from Chuy's is small, but street parking is available too. Although it's a short walk from the parking area, it's nothing too strenuous. Expect cars to honk and cheer you on as you pose for your shoot! I also recommend walking beneath the bridge to capture some stunning shots with it in the background.

Keep in mind that there are plenty of stairs, which can be a challenge in the summer heat, but the view is totally worth it. The water features here are stunning—with the waterfall being a definite highlight and my personal favorite. Plus, you can snag free street parking on Belknap (right before Calhoun) after 6pm on weekdays and all day on weekends. Simply put, you really can’t go wrong with this location!
