One of the greatest joys of being a photographer is building relationships that span life’s biggest milestones. Andie is one of those special clients who I’ve had the honor of photographing not once, but twice during two unforgettable chapters of her life.
I first photographed Andie when she was a high school senior. She was full of energy, ambition, and excitement for the future—so much so that she graduated early! Her senior session was one for the books: we played dress-up, splashed around in a creek, and embraced urban vibes in downtown Keller. Her session was a perfect reflection of her fun-loving and adventurous personality.
Fast forward to the day Andie got engaged to a wonderful man named Kaden. She reached out to me with the exciting news and asked if I photographed weddings. Of course, I said YES! I couldn’t have been more thrilled to be part of this next chapter of her story.
For their engagement session, we chose the beautiful venue where they would be getting married: The Brooks in Weatherford. We spent the day exploring the venue, chatting about their upcoming wedding, and capturing their love story in the most stunning backdrops. One of the most memorable moments was when we decided to place Andie and Kaden on top of a hay bale. We joked about recreating the shot on their wedding day—this time with the help of a ladder!
The big day arrived on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025. It was an absolutely gorgeous day with perfect weather. Andie and Kaden’s wedding was everything they had dreamed of—intimate, heartfelt, and joyful. Andie surprised Kaden by wearing a veil during the ceremony, a sweet touch that made the moment even more special. The ceremony was short and sweet, just as the couple had envisioned, and was followed by a lively reception. We danced the night away to music by The Josh Weathers Band, creating memories that will last a lifetime. The evening ended with a glow stick exit, a vibrant and fun farewell as the couple headed off to the Dominican Republic for their honeymoon. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.
